Welcome to Porcelain Art School-South Thank you for visiting our site. PAS-S is dedicated to providing an opportunity for porcelain artists to study a variety of technique styles taught by some of the best teachers in the porcelain art field. Our teachers plan each class and subject to inspire artists of all levels, from beginners to advanced, teachers and professional artists. The focus of the PAS-S school is education, meeting the needs of each student, promoting the art of painting on porcelain and a lasting camaraderie with other artists. Due to a limited number of available classrooms in the dormitory, we are limited to the number of teachers and students, so let us know right away if you would like to join us this year for our yearly seminars in historic Charleston, South Carolina. Shops, boutiques and historical sites are within easy walking distance from the Dormitory. The campus is beautiful in May with a wide variety of spring flowers and flowering shrubs (an additional inspiration to the students and teachers). Restaurants are plentiful and offer exquisite menu selections. Many participants stay in Charleston for a few days to enjoy the world famous Spoleto Festival which starts the last of May. Visual and performing artists participate in the festival and there are activities to please everyone's preference in music, dance, theater and the visual arts.
